At a ceremony held at Imam Khomeini's mausoleum south of Tehran on June 4, 2010, Ayatollah Khamenei told a very large gathering of worshippers that Imam Khomeini's thoughts were the guiding principle of the Islamic Revolution, adding that Imam followed several major policies including reliance on pure Islam, faith in God's promises, and confidence in people.
