Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) 2015 finished the year’s programs after hosting divergent cultural activities over more than span of 10 days.

Several valueable books by the founder of the Islamic Republic were displayed at an international book exhibition in the Iranian capital Tehran.
The international department of institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works had set up a special stall where Imam’s works are being displayed and presented in foreign languages.
The department designed and presented several works of Imam Khomeini, the great religious and spiritual leader of Muslim world, in form of multimedia CDs and digital productions in English and Arabic languages.
Some audio form of Imam’s books and a comprehensive movie about his biography and events were also among the multimedia items appealing to and attracting the visitors.
The works were classified in various categories. The works are ranged as general and specialized works in various fields. The works are also being presented for the children in separate sections.

Earlier, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati along with a number of international diplomats attended the event’s opening ceremony held more than ten days ago.
During the inauguration ceremony, President Rouhani emphasized the practice of book-reading and learning as conducive to the finding of peaceful solutions for international crises.
“We should resolve regional and international problems through reading and writing books,” President Rouhani said, adding that books are means of diplomacy and a bond among nations and governments.
The event, the biggest of its kind in the Middle East and Asia, hosted hundreds of publishers from Iran and across the world.
