The meeting was attended by art directors from the main headquarters in Tehran, and the relevant officials of the institute branches in the cities of Qom, Esfahan and Khomein. The meeting was chaired by Ali Komesari, the executive art director in Tehran.
The directors and relevant officials discussed the ways to improve and enhance the institute’s performance in the art and several other fields.
The meeting came on 26th anniversary of the heavenly passing away of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic.
It is noteworthy that the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works focuses on promoting Imam’s dynamic thought, teachings and works.
The institute’s main headquarter is located in the Iranian capital city and it has its branches in other cities across Iran.
The international department in close coordination with the other sections of the institute has assumed responsibility of translating and promoting Imam Khomeini’s works in different languages. Dozens of Imam’s works have been translated into various languages over the past years.
Imam works are now available in form of published and digital forms.
Experts maintain that Imam’s works should be promoted through universities, libraries, exhibitions, media, internet and social networking websites.
Imam had well command over several disciplines of knowledge and left several works in various fields including philosophy, mysticism, jurisprudence, Hasith, Quranic interpretation and several other fields.
Imam’s academic and political legacy will continue to appeal the generations to come.
