Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini in a recent Instagram post has said that lessons must be learnt from the past, best use of present times must be made, and future should be built on the current efforts, in lives of individuals and nations.
Citing Islamic traditions and the practical conduct of the infallibles, he noted that the past and futures have of not as worth as present. The present times must be utilized in its maximum capacities in order to compensate the past and built a bright future.
So whatever right now does exist is present, not the past nor the future, he pointed out.
It is worthy to mention that Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, used to make best use of times throughout his life.
Imam was very punctual even when he was sent to exile during struggle against the Pahlavi regime of Shah.
During his stay in holy city of Najaf, Imam had made use of each moment by making a schedule and divining times for the following affairs:
* To pay pilgrimage to holy shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH)
* Setting time for organizing study circles and lectures for students
* Allocating specific times to handle welfare affairs of the seminary students and public
Imam had made use of minutes even between intervals and space between two programs by reciting some verses of the holy book of Quran.
Imam Khomeini is considered a mystic of great caliber and he had also well command over the fields such as philosophy, jurisprudence, mysticism, Hadith, Quranic interpretation, and several other interdisciplinary disciplines of knowledge.
Following the victory of the Islamic Revolution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini, Iran made significant progress in several fields and changed the balance of power in the interests of the oppressed nations.
