It has been recalled through a series of memoirs that Imam once sent a gift wrapped in a piece of paper for domestic servant who worked at Imam’s office and residence.
Haj Isa recalled when he opened the gift pack; he saw a brand new ‘aba’, a piece of cloth which is used to recite prayers.
Hajj ‘Issa Jafari, who used to serve as a domestic servant at Imam Khomeini’s historic residence and office, passed away early in January this year. He departed this world morning coinciding with the martyrdom anniversary of Hadrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.)
Following death of Hajj ‘Issa Jafari, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, Imam’s grandson, wrote in a condolence message that he was a sincere and compassionate companion, who performed great services and remained with great spirit during his oldhood for several years even after the heavenly departure of Imam Khomeini.
