Seyyed Hassan Khomeini says path of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will continue

The grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic has offered condolences over Hezbollah leader's martyrdom, emphasizing path of the secretary general of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will continue.

In a statement on Saturday, Hezbollah confirmed the assassination of its leader in massive Israeli airstrikes targeting residential buildings in southern Beirut on Friday.

In a message released on Saturday, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini stressed the importance of repelling the influence of enemies and confronting their conspiracies following the Hezbollah chief martyrdom.

The reputed scholar highlighted the need of avoiding divisions and absurd discord and instead emphasized of gathering and uniting around the axis of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei.

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini further said that it was necessary to pass this critical stage safely. 

"But understanding the circumstances and coordinates of the new era of confronting and fighting against arrogance is an urgent and vital necessity," he said. "Just as Martyr Nasrallah, relying on his unique rationality, for more than 30 years, turned the plant of Hezbollah into a strong and rooted tree by passing through the fierce storms." 

"The brutal Zionist regime once again committed a great crime by assassinating the dear brother, the pride of the Islamic world and the precious scholar, Hojat al-Islam Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, and a group of commanders of Hezbollah and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and hundreds of innocent people fell victim to the criminal Tel Aviv regime’s vicious terror attacks."

"For those who knew Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah , it was very clear that for him natural death was a disgrace and his wish was to be martyred at the hands of the worst people."

In an earlier message, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the resistance front would deal more crushing blows on the "dilapidated and decaying body" of the Zionist regime. 

Ayatollah Khamenei made the statement in a message of condolences on Saturday over the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the longtime leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement, who was assassinated in a massive Israeli airstrike in southern Beirut on Friday.

The Leader declared five days of national mourning following the martyrdom of the Hezbollah chief.a
