Reported by Jamaran news agency, among many of works about Imam Khomeini and the Islamic revolution, “The Narrative of Awakening" has specialized the place of the most published book on Imam's life, thought and the overview of the revolution.
The book whose writer is Dr. Hamid Ansari, the head of “The Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini's Work” not only was published by Oruj Institute for Compilation and Publication (dependent on The Institute for Compilation and Publication Imam Khomeini's Work), Cultural Centers of Iran, Iranian Embassies and several publication institutes in Iran and abroad, but also was translated to 25 global vivant languages and was presented to Imam lovers and its newest volume is the translation to Croatian which was published by the assistance of the International Department of the Institute for Compilation and Publication Imam Khomeini's Work and with the cooperation of the Culture Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Croatia.
This work which has specular characteristics such as abbreviated totality, being vivid and documentary, the appropriate format of presenting, being pictured, beautiful diction and a semi-story narration, glorifies Iran's contemporary events relying on the overview of conflicts and presenting the basic elements of this intellectual's beliefs.
The Narrative of Awakening” in addition of gaining the title of the best book in 2003, after 25 years passing the Islamic revolution, was being used to connect the post revolution generations in several cultural competitions and it was translated to Arabic, English, Urdu, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Azeri, Turkish, Kyrgyz, Russian, Bengali, Tamil, Malayan, Swahili, Hausa, Bosnian, Serbian, Chinese, Japanese, Albanian, Kurd, Tajik and recently Croatian and in some occasions theses volumes were republished.
The Croatian volume was translated by Adriana Buccani from Serbian and was published in 1000 volumes.
